AMBALA: City MP on Tuesday unfurled a 100-feet-tall national flag at Cantonment railway station premises. The tricolour has been installed under the plan of beautification of the railway station.
Kataria also inaugurated an ultra-modern toilet constructed at the cost of Rs 45 lakh the station premises.
The funds for the beautification of the railway station have been provided by the Ministry of Railways.
Kataria while interacting with journalists praised the Indian Air Force for launching airstrikes inside the Pakistani territory against a camp of Jaish-e-Mohammad.
“On this day, our army has taken revenge of Pulwama attack. Ambala is an important station and it‘s a historic day when a 100-feet-tall national flag is installed here on this day.”
Talking about the beautification of the Ambala station, Kataria said, “Indian Railways and french companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop Ambala and Ludhiana stations. After the completion of the work, these stations would come in the world-class category.”
