One of Center City‘s most charming restaurants is planning a second location at Philadelphia International Airport.

Bud & Marilyn‘s, the retro-style bar at 13th and Locust streets, announced Friday that they will team up again ROHE Creative to design the full-service outpost at the airport.

The original bar, another collaboration between Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran (owners of Barbuzzo, Lolita, Verde, Little Nonna‘s and more), opened in the Gayborhood in 2015. Its warm ambiance and collection of vintage decorations made it an instantly comfortable addition to the Midwest duo‘s group of restaurants.

The menu at Bud & Marilyn‘s offers hearty shareables (think buttermilk pretzel rolls and smoked chedder pierogis) to salads, steak, grilled and fried chicken, pork chop and salmon.

A Moscow mule or a Hemingway daiquiri may be exactly what travelers need before they jump on a flight. The cocktail list is full of new and old-fashioned options.

A timeline for the project was not announced Friday, but the restaurant said progress updates can be expected along the way.
