KPCC vice-president K Sudhakaran said that the party was holding talks with the family members of the Kripesh and Sarath Lal on approaching the court for a CBI probe. “The party will support the parents of the two youths to move court since they have made it clear they have no trust on the state police,’’ said K Sudhakaran.
Muraleedharan said that the visit of Kasaragod MP P Karunakaran and CPM district leaders to the house of A Peethambaran—who has been arrested in the case— indicates that the CPM would sabotage the probe. “They visited Peethambaran’s house to pledge the support of the party to him and his family,’’ he said.
