CHANDIGARH: Workers of National Health Mission (NHM) in Haryana on Friday intensified their strike following failed talks between Union leaders and the state government over regularisation.
The agitating NHM men and women started their strike by paying tributes to martyred CRPF personnel and announcing to give Rs 10,000 to PM’s National Defence Fund.
Ex-servicemen association of headed by Subedar Attar Singh Multani joined the and requested the government to sort out their issue instead of rendering them unemployed.
According to information, the health department and NHM’s mission director office has directed the civil surgeons to issue termination letters to those participating in the strike. But, civil surgeons have not yet taken any action so far.
